These are snapshots from a location shoot in Asahikawa for the magazine 'POPEYE'. Pictured with me are model Robin in the large photo below, and in the smaller photo, from right to left, editor Toru Kitahara, myself, hairstylist Futa Sato, and sitting is model GUNTERS. The location is near Biei. It seems we were all enjoying the full experience of a location shoot right in the heart of nature. I believe it was the third week of October, and the temperature was just right for winter clothing shoots. The weather was also good, which was fantastic.
The blouson I'm wearing today is from GUCCI. It's from their Spring/Summer 2007 collection, made of suede, which I think is perfect for early autumn in Japan. The T-shirt is a PHOTO-T from my favorite brand, Lad Musician. I own over ten of these in different photo variations, but the sizing fits me perfectly. I also love the content of the photos and the color palette, so I wear them very often. The pants are FINE DENIM, and they have great stretch.
Given that we were on a nature shoot like this, I considered footwear and dug out some boots from the back of my shoe closet. The first pair I found was this Helmut Lang pair. I was so pleased to find them that I decided to wear them immediately. I wore them throughout the entire Asahikawa shoot. Oh, but I did change them for the evening drinks at the snack bar, of course.
