The 10th installment features the magazine MONOCLE.
Issue 10: MONOCLE Magazine
Recently, we received an inquiry from the London-based culture magazine, MONOCLE.
MONOCLE, launched just this past February, is a magazine whose editor-in-chief, Tyler Brûlé,
expressed interest in CAUSE and requested that we send some of our work.

An Unseen Connection with London
Tyler Brûlé is known for founding Wallpaper* magazine and for his columns in publications like The New York Times, introducing trends he selects with his unique perspective while traveling the world.
Hearing him speak, I learned he is constantly traveling, seemingly creating his publications on the go, which resonated deeply with me.
Upon receiving MONOCLE (www.monocle.com/) after the interview, I found it to be an intellectually stimulating and sophisticated magazine. I thoroughly enjoyed reading its engaging content on business, public opinion, ecology, fashion, design, and culture.
Hidetoshi Nakata is also involved as an editor. Incidentally, CAUSE is featured in issue 04.
London truly has a peculiar connection to me; it reaffirmed itself as a place of profound significance.
I intend to continue creating my work while traveling, just as I have been.
For me, the concept behind CAUSE is to learn from the best aspects of various overseas influences, and through the filter of being Japanese, to create excellent designs, a goal I constantly pursue.
I am exploring and contemplating how to create truly useful designs within the realm of footwear, born from the simple, everyday moments.
I am deeply honored that CAUSE was selected by Tyler Brûlé's discerning eye from among these endeavors,
and I find strength in his unwavering commitment to pursuing uncompromising quality.
Thank you. We will continue to do our best.
