STUSSY × CAUSE

STUSSY has been a brand I've loved and worn since my twenties.

I still vividly remember the first time I bought a photo T-shirt printed with a tribal logo in fluorescent colors.

At the time, many designs were inspired by the London boom, so it felt incredibly fresh.

Through STUSSY, I made many friends – musicians, clothing designers, and more. Many of those relationships continue to this day.

After various developments, I'm now grateful for the opportunity to create footwear and to be involved in such meaningful work.

Various artists have participated in the serialized product line based on STUSSY's 2006 total concept, "STUSSY WORLD TOUR," and CAUSE joined this year.

For this collaboration, we took STUSSY's signature world tour textile art, printed it in clear colors on canvas, and developed the concept using CAUSE's signature high-top silhouette as a motif.

The double name "STUSSY/CAUSE FOOTWEAR" is engraved on the insoles and heel patches.

I'm very pleased with the result, which successfully translates the STUSSY aesthetic while effectively reflecting both brands' colors, condensing the best of both worlds.
