An archive is the collection and preservation of records and materials. For Spring/Summer 2012,Margaret Howellthe men's collection strongly emphasizes the "archive" inspiration that has continued for several seasons.


While drawing on the tailored elements that have always been their strength from the archive, the collection features expressions that have been casually updated to suit the times. So-called "mode" is prone to change with the times, but Margaret Howell reinterprets it, proposing a unique, new style that is neither a copy, a revival, nor simply a trend. A modern feeling blows through it.
