MARGARET HOWELL MENS AUTUMN WINTER 2011

Special Report: Autumn Winter Menswear Collection

MARGARET HOWELL's Autumn Winter 2011 collection, inspired by the works of popular Manchester painter L.S. Lowry, presents a fresh color palette and sophisticated color coordination. It also expresses the new charm of various items through an unprecedented mix of materials.

During this presentation, a photoshoot for the Autumn Winter 2011 lookbook was simultaneously taking place in the store. Margaret casually added a hat, a key accent item for this winter, to a jacket ensemble.──This was to more realistically highlight one of the core concepts of the Autumn Winter 2011 collection: the mix of different materials.

The presentation is organized by coordinated looks, allowing for an immediate understanding of this season's theme. Margaret proposes a unique blend of cashmere with wool and nylon. The lineup offers a magical experience, making you want to try everything on the moment you touch it.

While her signature grayish tones remain a staple, the Autumn Winter 2011 collection introduces new styling possibilities by incorporating orange, red, and bordeaux.

Even during the lookbook shoot, she would cross her arms, ponder for a moment, then gently place a hat on the model's head, returning to her usual smile. These scenes unfolded beside the presentation, visible to all. Those who witnessed them could instantly grasp her flexible sensibility and dedication to craftsmanship.
