Noble Traders, the company behind the Western tableware specialty store Le Noble, has launched a collection of teacups & saucers and mini plates, jointly developed with Blanc Benjarong, a leading workshop for "Benjarong ware," one of Thailand's three great ceramics.

Benjarong ware is one of Thailand's three great ceramics, alongside Celadon and Blue-and-white. Originally produced from around the 17th century during the Ayutthaya Kingdom era as exclusive tableware for the Thai Royal Family, it has been favored for its delicate and intricate designs adorned with gold leaf.

Blanc Benjarong was established in 1995 in Samut Sakhon Province, a region renowned as the home of Benjarong ware. It is also a manufacturer that has contributed to the popularization of Benjarong ware, transforming it from a handicraft into a marketable product for global distribution.

For this joint development, Le Noble's sales staff, experts in tableware, selected nine patterns from Blanc Benjarong's pattern book, which contains over hundreds of designs, with the theme of tableware that suits Japanese tables. The collection includes teacups & saucers and 8cm mini plates.
