Mizuno, a comprehensive sports equipment manufacturer, has launched a new series, "MIZUNO SLEEP," for its full-scale entry into the sleep market. The first products in the "MIZUNO SLEEP" series, the "ReFull" physical support mattress with a new structure that achieves high body pressure dispersion and ease of turning over, and the "Fu-do" mattress pad that releases heat during sleep, began accepting pre-orders on June 14, 2023.

"MIZUNO SLEEP" is a new series in the sleep domain aiming to improve the sleep performance of all people, with the concept of "making sleep more comfortable with sports technology." Considering the importance of sleep just like exercise, and leveraging the technology and know-how cultivated as a comprehensive sports equipment manufacturer, the first products are the "ReFull" physical support mattress and the "Fu-do" mattress pad.

"ReFull" is a three-layer physical support mattress using Mizuno's highly resilient mesh material "ReFull," which offers excellent breathability. The fiber in the upper layer (fit layer) is shaped into threads, making it soft and providing a snug fit while maintaining high resilience. It balances comfort with ease of turning over. The lower layer (support layer) uses tube-shaped fibers to make it firm, supporting heavy areas like the waist without sinking even with a thickness of 7 cm, and is designed to minimize the feeling of bottoming out*. *1 Varies by individual.

Furthermore, considering the shape and range of motion of each body part, it is uniquely designed with six zones from head to toe, each with different characteristics, ensuring a high level of fit. The reversible mattress cover features a cotton blend material on the surface (for all seasons) and a mesh material on the back (for summer).

The "Fu-do" mattress pad, designed to release heat during sleep, features W-directional breathability, both horizontally and vertically. By applying the void structure mechanism of the functional material "Dry Aeroflow," which pursues breathability, it enhances sweat management capabilities, creating a dry feel even when sweating. The "Fu-do" is lightweight at approximately 620g and features elastic bands for easy removal from bedding, making it simple to wash.

"ReFull" is available in three sizes from single to double, priced from 88,000 to 115,500 yen. "Fu-do" is available in a single size only for 9,900 yen. Orders for both are being accepted through the crowdfunding service "Makuake."
