Made with over 90% high-quality goose down, the same used in down comforters, and thoughtful details from a camper's perspective
The washable down sleeping bag, "Nishikawa Honki Neguruma," was developed in response to a question from a young, camping-loving employee: "Why doesn't Nishikawa, a long-established bedding maker, create sleeping bags?" The company leveraged its bedding manufacturing technology to create this sleeping bag.
The sleeping bag incorporates Nishikawa's technology from its "Landrie" down comforters, which can be washed and dried whole in a coin laundry. While the ability to easily wash away dirt and odors after use is appealing, the company also aimed to provide a "home-like comfort" experience outdoors, as if you were sleeping at home.
The filling uses over 90% fluffy, lightweight, high-quality goose down for insulation and moisture regulation. Additionally, the "3D Baffle Box" stitching, which doesn't impede the down's loft, prevents the down from shifting, maintaining a plush feel and warmth.
When stored in its case, the sleeping bag can also be used as a cushion
The size is slightly larger than a standard sleeping bag, offering a relaxed fit
Typical nylon fabrics can feel cold, rustle, or feel sticky with sweat when you're in a sleeping bag. To counter this, Nishikawa uses a soft flannel fabric, commonly found in blankets, for the inner lining, ensuring a comforting sleep experience outdoors that feels like home. The size is also a generous, relaxed fit, slightly larger than standard sleeping bags, allowing for leg movement and turning over. The storage case can be turned inside out and used as a pillow with a towel, or the sleeping bag can be stored inside to function as a cushion, making it ideal for emergency preparedness.
Smartphone pocket
The drawstring at the top can be tightened to close the gap around the neck, retaining warmth
Features a double zipper. Can be opened to regulate temperature when it's too hot
Further thoughtful details cater to campers' needs. A smartphone pocket allows for easy retrieval of your phone in dim tents, while the drawstring at the top can be tightened to seal the neck area and retain warmth. The double zipper at the bottom allows you to open just the foot area for temperature regulation, incorporating numerous ideas for a more comfortable outdoor experience.
