“EXO SHEARS” Used in Fashion Schools
MERCHANT & MILLS, a brand focused on sewing tools, was born from a desire to spread traditional French tailoring. The brand, which has garnered a devoted following by artfully updating classic designs for the modern era, now introduces its new tailoring shears, the “EXO SHEARS.”
These shears were developed under the guidance of the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre at the University of Sheffield in the UK. By separately casting the intricately shaped blade tip and the simply structured handle, the shears achieve unparalleled sharpness and enable exceptionally fine cuts. Their usability is further affirmed by their adoption in fashion schools.
