The Designer's Passion Embodied in Stripped-Down Forms
Wilhelm Wagenfeld, born in Bremen, Germany, in 1900, studied at the Bauhaus, the art school that laid the foundation for modernism. The designs he released for the heat-resistant glass brand "IENA GLASS" in the 1930s are renowned for their beautiful, modernist forms and functionality.
When production of "IENA GLASS" ceased in 2005, "trendglass JENA" acquired many of the designs and manufacturing molds. They are now produced in Germany and Hungary using the same materials. The "TEA GLASS CONICAL" (tumbler) and "FOR TWO POT" (coffee server) are characterized by their timeless, refined design. Each time you hold the pot or bring the glass to your lips, you'll experience its exceptional usability. They would also make a welcome gift. Made in Germany.
