Montblanc introduces the new "Heritage Collection Egyptomania." Two models have been released.

The historic Montblanc design from the 1920s is reissued as a new collection, blending the beauty of vintage Montblanc writing instruments with a modern sensibility.

The Heritage Collection has consistently revisited iconic editions from the Maison's rich heritage, infusing them with new design and technological innovation. This time, the focus is on an octagonal writing instrument from the 1920s, known as the "Montblanc Egyptian Fountain Pen," dating back approximately 100 years.

In the 1920s, Egypt, at the peak of archaeological adventure and discovery, saw the unearthing of various sites, including the tomb of Tutankhamun. These discoveries captured the imagination and wanderlust of people worldwide, exerting an unprecedented influence on European culture and art. This fascination with ancient Egyptian civilization also permeated the world of Montblanc writing instruments at the time.

The newly presented "Heritage Collection Egyptomania" faithfully reproduces the iconic octagonal shape of its predecessor. Hieroglyphs, meaning "Montblanc (mountain of white stone)," are engraved on the cap.

Furthermore, the hieroglyphs engraved on the body of the silver "Heritage Special Edition Doué" are a quote from a passage in the "Book of the Dead" by Hunefer, a royal scribe who lived in the 13th century BC and whose tomb is considered one of the most significant discoveries in Egyptian archaeology.

Meanwhile, the nib of the fountain pen, with its nostalgic exterior, incorporates the latest technology. It features a modern design with a triangular heart hole, offering a smooth writing experience.
