A Tribute to Enzo Ferrari. The "Montblanc Great Characters Enzo Ferrari Special Edition"
Montblanc introduces a fountain pen paying homage to Enzo Ferrari, the founder of the luxury sports car manufacturer Ferrari.

Cloaked in Rosso 70 Anni, Ferrari's Signature Red
The Montblanc Great Characters Edition is a series that reflects the stories and achievements of individuals who have left their mark on human history.
In 2021, items honoring Enzo Ferrari, a luminary in the automotive world, are being released.
The "Montblanc Great Characters Enzo Ferrari Special Edition" translates Ferrari's unparalleled performance and speed into the design of a writing instrument.
The vibrant red adorning the body and cap is inspired by Ferrari's signature color (red = Rosso), "Rosso 70 Anni." This striking color scheme further accentuates the special nature of the item.
The back of the cap is engraved with the "prancing horse," Ferrari's iconic logo. The cap top features a yellow Montblanc emblem, representing the city of Modena, Italy, and is surrounded by a metal grid reminiscent of vintage car grilles. These details evoke the many legendary Ferrari cars of the past.
Furthermore, the ring on the cap top is engraved with "Officina Meccanica Alfredo Ferrari," the name of Enzo Ferrari's father Alfredo's workshop and Enzo's birthplace. The cap top also bears an engraving of Enzo's signature.
The silhouette of the clip is engraved with Ferrari's words: 'YOU CANNOT DESCRIBE PASSION, YOU CAN ONLY LIVE IT.' Six lines are arranged on each side of the clip, totaling twelve. These represent Ferrari's V12 engine.
The barrel end is made of metal with a platinum finish. Upon closer inspection, two dates are engraved: "18.02.1898," Enzo Ferrari's birthday, and "17.06.1923," the date of Enzo Ferrari's first victory at the Savio Circuit.
Removing the cap reveals a nib made of Au585 solid gold with a rhodium finish. It is engraved with the silhouette of the Ferrari 250 GTO's steering wheel and the inscription of Enzo's nickname "Pilota" (Pilot).
