Oak is a deciduous broad-leaved tree belonging to the Quercus genus. It is a high-grade wood often used for furniture, flooring, and interior finishes. While widely distributed throughout Japan, from Hokkaido to Kyushu, its demand has been increasing both domestically and internationally, making it difficult to obtain and driving up prices.

Its wood grain is beautiful and warm, characterized by fine vertical lines and a wavy pattern. Available in shades from pale yellow to medium brown, it deepens in color over time, developing a rich, amber hue.

This product is a collaboration with wood creator HIROSHI ITO, produced by anicecompany. HIROSHI ITO is a unique creator who transitioned from temple carpentry to hairdressing, rapidly establishing himself as a popular hair stylist. In 2011, he launched Japan's first JOHN MASTERS ORGANICS head spa salon in partnership with a select shop in Fukuoka, which garnered attention for its groundbreaking aesthetic. This led him to design store fixtures for Porter Classic, led by Katsuyuki Yoshida, and gain recognition as a wood creator.

He later successfully completed a treehouse project for PHAETON, a select shop in Ishikawa Prefecture known for its distinctive style. Currently, he showcases his talent across a wide range of fields, from product design to interior and architectural design. His product designs, which maximize the beauty of wood materials, are highly supported and acclaimed by many creators.
