Elegant designs crafted with skilled techniques. Edo Kiriko wine glasses with traditional patterns reinterpreted for modern tastes.

Designs feature two patterns: the traditional "Kikutsunagi" and the original "Nozomi."

The Edo Kiriko wine glass "SUI-REN" comes in three shapes: basic, burgundy, and sparkling. Each is available with two cut patterns, for a total of six items.

All three shapes feature delicate and beautiful cut glass patterns on both the bowl and the base (plate). The bowl is adorned with "Nanako," a representative pattern of Edo Kiriko.
Base on the left: Kikutsunagi, Base on the right: Nozomi
Two types of patterns are available for the base of each of the three shapes. One is "Kikutsunagi," a representative Edo Kiriko pattern depicting chrysanthemums in succession. The other is the original "Nozomi," inspired by the "spider web," said to attract good fortune.
Both feature simple yet modern designs, with the elegant cutting of overlapping lines along curves showcasing the artisans' skilled craftsmanship.

The "Kikutsunagi" pattern, in particular, requires painstaking work. Due to the complexity of the glass shape and the pattern, the standard tools cannot be used for the "wari-dashi" process, which involves drawing the reference lines.
These elegant wine glasses, with their simple yet intricate cuts, emit a unique sparkle and are perfect as special gifts. We hope you enjoy their beauty and the new expressions that emerge when wine is poured.
