HASAMI PORCELAIN, a Hasami ware tableware brand, began in the United States in 2011. The brand has now released its first-ever glass tumblers.

HASAMI PORCELAIN is characterized by its simple forms that eschew ornamentation, blending clean, decisive straight lines with functional curves, and its modular design that facilitates stacking. Sizes are developed with a common diameter and follow a consistent module.
The newly released tumblers adopt the shape of the existing "Medium" mug, with the handle removed. Only the material has been replaced with glass. They have a substantial thickness, and the rim is smooth to the touch. They are also dishwasher safe. Manufacturing is handled by Toyo Sasaki Glass, known for its extensive product range from professional to household use, as well as its high technical skill and quality.
"I love drinking sparkling water from these tumblers, but plain water is great too. I also enjoy using them for whiskey on the rocks, shochu on the rocks, or iced coffee. By placing a plate or wooden tray on top, they can even be used as food storage containers," says Shinomoto. Their versatility is truly remarkable, and their accessible price point is also appealing.
