An Unparalleled, Luxurious Collaboration

A new collection of home and office objects has been born, embodying Berluti's latest vision.
The collaborators include carefully selected manufacturers and designers such as Austria's brass workshop Karl Örboch, Italy's silver specialist San Lorenzo, and designer Simon Hasan. Using Berluti's leather, new life has been breathed into iconic, historically significant masterpieces.
The collection features a brass cast magazine rack and letter opener designed in 1950 by Karl Örboch II, one of the first Bauhaus students in the 1920s, hand-finished with Berluti's signature Venezia leather. It also includes desk pads and pen holders designed by his son, Karl Örboch III.
Cartoccio Bowl
The "Cartoccio Bowl," presented in 1996 by designer couple Afra & Tobia Scarpa, features San Lorenzo's sterling silver with an exterior finished in fine Venezia leather, accentuating its sculptural beauty.
British designer Simon Hasan designed five types of vases for Berluti. Vegetable-tanned leather is draped over a wooden frame and heated with hot water, a 15th-century handicraft technique. The joined seams are secured with stainless steel hardware, the interior is hardened with resin, and finally, Berluti's signature patina is applied by hand.
Creative Director Kris Van Assche commented, "This luxurious collaboration began by seeking out artisans with a rich heritage of craftsmanship. Each piece reflects the richness of Berluti, a brand that speaks to men across generations."

This collection offers a glimpse into the philosophy of "richness" and "beauty" envisioned by Kris Van Assche, who is celebrating his second anniversary as Creative Director.
