Poster and booklet included, illustrated by Yu Nagaba
The "Wooden Monkey," designed in 1951 by the master of design Kay Bojesen and known as an icon of 20th-century Danish design. To commemorate its 70th anniversary, a model has been created by upcycling wood scraps from an SDG perspective. It will be sold exclusively on the online shop "scope."

The "Wooden Monkey," composed of 32 parts, embodies craftsmanship in every detail.
The special 70th-anniversary model, "Reworked Monkey," inherits this legacy while using small scraps from five types of wood that would otherwise be discarded. Combining them creates a beautiful mosaic tone. It uses almost entirely FSC®-certified wood, and environmental considerations such as zero waste and the utilization of discarded resources have been taken into account.
The monkey's sole is stamped with a 70th-anniversary mark, and this model, released in a special wooden box as a worldwide limited edition, comes with an additional Japan-exclusive bonus. It includes a newly drawn A2 poster and a special booklet by popular illustrator Yu Nagaba. This item is exclusively available in Japan through the online shop "scope." The launch on November 15th can't come soon enough.
