Optimized Design for SuperStroke Grips

Garmin is a GPS device manufacturer founded in the United States in 1989. The company name originates from its founders, Gary Burrell and Min H. Kao. Since its inception, the company has been guided by the philosophy of developing "navigation and communication devices that enrich lifestyles."

The "Approach CT1 SuperStroke Edition" was developed in response to requests from users of popular grip manufacturer SuperStroke.

It attaches to the tech port (dedicated mounting area) of compatible SuperStroke putter grips and works in conjunction with existing club tracking sensors, the "Approach CT1" or "Approach CT10" (each sold separately). By combining it with sensors attached to other clubs in your bag, you can comprehensively record all shots during a round.

When used with compatible Garmin golf GPS watches, data is automatically recorded simply by touching the sensor tag on the grip end to the watch before each shot. The appeal lies in its ability to track every shot, including putts, without omission.

Another key feature is the adoption of an NFC sensor tag, which eliminates the need for charging or battery replacement, allowing for maintenance-free use. The sensor weighs a mere 6 grams, so you won't feel its presence during play.

After your round, you can analyze your data in detail with the dedicated "Garmin Golf app." In addition to score management, it allows for trend analysis of each shot and visualization of putt ratios (1-putt, 2-putt, 3-putt or more). Furthermore, you can check your success rate by putt distance (long, medium, short), which will help you objectively understand your strengths and weaknesses.

These detailed data analyses enable players to visualize their golf skills numerically. Putting, in particular, is a technique heavily reliant on feel, but data-driven analysis can clarify the direction for practice. Identifying specific challenges will lead to more efficient training and improved performance.
