PXG has announced the new PXG 0317® ST Blades, a line of blade irons offering exceptional precision and control. They are available through the official PXG Japan website, authorized PXG retailers, or via PXG Japan mobile fitting.
Unrivaled Feel and Exquisite Design
PXG (Parsons Xtreme Golf) is a U.S.-based golf manufacturer founded in 2014 by entrepreneur and passionate golfer Bob Parsons, who envisioned creating the ultimate golf clubs without regard for development costs or time.
The company has now unveiled the all-new PXG 0317® ST Blades.
Named after the U.S. Marine Corps' 0317 Outpost Sniper (Scout Sniper), these irons are designed to produce the ultimate trajectory, allowing players to hit pins with pinpoint accuracy. Furthermore, a unique, progressively optimized design for each club allows golfers to precisely control their ball flight.
The PXG 0317 ST Blades are crafted from 8620 soft carbon steel, subjected to a triple forging process to create a dense and durable product. This extends the groove life and imparts the signature feel of forged clubs.
Additionally, CNC milling ensures meticulous finishing of every detail, including the clubhead's surface, curves, and angles. High-precision robotic polishing of the sole and perimeter further enables the consistent manufacturing of all clubs with exceptional accuracy.
The high-precision weight technology is another notable feature. A large tungsten weight located near the center of gravity at the rear of the clubhead allows for optimization of swing weight and head weight targets. This can be adjusted during a personalized club fitting session as part of a custom order.
The manufacturer's suggested retail price for the PXG 0317® ST Blades in Chrome finish is ¥31,900 per club (tax included), with a price of ¥26,400 per club (tax included) for purchases of five or more. The Extreme Dark finish is ¥35,200 per club (tax included), and ¥28,600 per club (tax included) for purchases of five or more.
