Joint Exhibition "BA TO MA vol.08 BATOMA CHRISTMAS" Confirmed
The theme is, "A Warm Christmas"――The joint exhibition "BATOMA CHRISTMAS," the only one in Japan dedicated to Christmas, will be held on Friday, May 29th and Saturday, May 30th (May 27th and 28th are by invitation only) at Laforet Museum Harajuku on the 6th floor of Laforet Harajuku. This third iteration will offer proposals that get a head start on the 2015 Christmas season within the unique, curated spaces that "BA TO MA" is known for.

Packed with Gift Ideas for Loved Ones and Hints for Christmas Decorations
"BATOMA CHRISTMAS," an exhibition that forecasts the Christmas of the year, has grown to include illumination decorations and Christmas markets at Omotesando Hills and Laforet Harajuku at the end of last year.
This project, organized by "H.P. France BA TO MA Business Division," originated from the joint exhibition of design, art, and products, "BATOMA TRADESHOW." To enhance the important Christmas sales period in the interior market into a more enjoyable season, it is held in May, aligning with the order placement period. "BA TO MA" will propose Christmas-appropriate items, such as miscellaneous goods and ornaments suitable for gifts, and groceries perfect for parties, all within a space brimming with "BA TO MA's" signature creativity.
Approximately 45 Companies Exhibit, Showcasing Anticipation and Imagination for Christmas
Masato Baba, director of "BA TO MA," shares his message: "Last year, when we handled the Christmas decorations for Omotesando Hills with the theme of 'Nostalgia,' a customer remarked, 'We've finally arrived at a truly Christmas-like place.' Recently, Christmas has become less about Christmas itself and more about a competition of technology, with numerous illuminations and projection mapping displays. Seeing this, I found myself longing for the Christmases of the past – family gatherings to decorate the tree, Christmas parties around the cake, and shopping streets filled with Christmas carols. This time, 'BA TO MA' proposes 'A Warm Christmas.' We have prepared gift items for your loved ones and hints for Christmas decorations, and we eagerly await your visit."
BATOMA CHRISTMAS features approximately 45 participating companies showcasing a variety of items to herald the upcoming Christmas season. Applications for exhibitors are being accepted on the official website until the end of March.
