A Look at Modern Design History and Exquisite Craftsmanship
Georg Jensen currently operates approximately 100 shops in 10 countries worldwide, offering a diverse range of collections including gold and diamond jewelry, watches, cutlery, living items, and hollowware.
This book, "GEORG JENSEN REFLECTIONS," is the first commentary to clearly articulate the sculptural essence of each Georg Jensen piece. It beautifully showcases the artisan's hand-hammered finishes, often used in Georg Jensen's collections, as well as the supple curves and meticulous attention to detail that characterize their work.
Furthermore, through archival photographs and numerous exquisite design sketches, the book traces the evolution of superior craftsmanship and technological innovation. It examines Georg Jensen's works from a design perspective, offering an objective portrayal of their artistic and sculptural world for the first time.
A Danish Design Powerhouse with Unique Appeal
"The precise hammer work on silver, struck with flawless accuracy; the welding skills, as refined as a surgeon's; the divine hands, the keen eyes, and the boundless passion that create perfectly measured curves in every aspect. Georg Jensen's silversmiths continue to uphold this precious tradition."—Murray Moss
