Perrocaliente | New Oil Lamps Featuring "Rainbow Oil"
Perrocaliente | Rainbow Oil Lamp
Perrocaliente's Playful Oil Lamp Illuminates the Surroundings
Perrocaliente, a product brand meaning “hot dog” in Spanish, offers a range of approachable items. Joining their collection is the “CANDLA,” an oil lamp shaped like a candle. Its dazzling light, illuminating a dining table in the dark, is so realistic it could be mistaken for a real candle. The design, brimming with playfulness, also reveals a thoughtful consideration for safety.

Eco-Friendly Design with Safety in Mind
Using the “CANDLA” is remarkably simple. Fill the body to about 50mL (half its capacity), and once the wick is saturated, light it with a lighter or match. Its low-fuel consumption design minimizes oil loss, burning for approximately 40 hours on 200mL of oil (with a flame height of about 20mm). The essential wick is made of fiberglass and can be used permanently by trimming it with scissors when the tip turns black.
The recommended oil is “Rainbow Oil,” also favored by restaurants. It has lower flammability and volatility compared to alcohol or kerosene, ensuring high safety. When used correctly, it produces no combustion fumes or soot, and no odor. Its low, stable shape is designed to prevent tipping, allowing for peace of mind during use.
The lamp is available in three colors: “Shiro,” “Ruri,” and “Usucha.” The semi-porcelain exterior achieves a lustrous finish reminiscent of a candle. Notably, it is also affordably priced, making it an excellent choice for a gift that will surely delight both the giver and the receiver.
While making a statement on the dining table, it’s poised to illuminate the smiles of guests at upcoming year-end home parties.
