Released in September 2021, the new "Royal Creatures" series from Royal Copenhagen is garnering attention for its design by the acclaimed international duo, GamFratesi.

Adorned with aquatic creatures, the designs on these long-loved White Fluted Half Lace tableware pieces are both elegant and playful. Yet, by remaining true to the brand's core motifs, they are instantly recognizable as Royal Copenhagen.

The collection features plump pufferfish, elegant swans, and slender grasshoppers. Inspired by the brand's signature three waves, it depicts creatures that inhabit, inhabit the surface of, or live near water, all familiar to Denmark. This can be seen as a poetic reinterpretation of the most iconic pattern (the lace trim) by the architects GamFratesi.

Never resting on its history and tradition, Royal Copenhagen continues to embrace innovative challenges. Perhaps its enduring global appeal lies in its constant evolution.
