This product is designed with hospitality in mind, to support those who may need to stay overnight in an office during a disaster.

Easy to Wear, Ready for Action

Tokyo implemented the "Tokyo Metropolitan Ordinance on Measures for Persons Unable to Return Home" in 2013, establishing measures to prevent chaos during disasters. When public transportation is not expected to resume, staying in the office for several days may be a necessary consideration. Since the Great East Japan Earthquake, awareness of the needs of these individuals has grown, but staying in offices or evacuation centers presents challenges such as physical discomfort from hard, cold floors and difficulty sleeping. The "Wearable Futon & Air Mat" offers a smart solution to these problems.

The "Wearable Futon & Air Mat" is a sleeping bag that is easy to put on and take off, allowing for movement while worn. Unlike conventional sleeping bags, its human shape allows for flexible adaptation in emergencies. It features a front zipper for quick dressing and undressing, and the neck and pant lengths are adjustable for a one-size-fits-all design. It's unisex, with wide trousers that can accommodate shoes.

It also comes with an approximately 5 cm thick air mat, which helps to mitigate the hardness of the floor. The mat can be rolled up and used as a pillow, and it inflates easily with the included air pump. The air layer helps to insulate against the cold from the floor, even in rooms without heating. Stored in an A4 file-sized box, it can be efficiently kept in offices within bookshelves or drawers. To alleviate the stress of disaster situations, why not start by preparing for them?
