When you walk with a camera, familiar scenery looks special
JAY TSUJIMURA's Leica accessories, inspired by "Japan's beauty, worthy of global pride," are soft releases of "cherry blossoms" and "chrysanthemums" titled "Floral emblems of Japan."
Just as carrying a camera can make everyday scenes feel extraordinary, attaching "cherry blossom" or "chrysanthemum" soft releases to your Leica M might make you feel as though you're encountering quintessentially Japanese landscapes you'd previously overlooked.
As you wander through alleys, nature, or the city, what if a fleeting moment stirs your senses? Capture that serendipitous encounter with your camera, a moment when you rediscover this country that our ancestors have cherished since time immemorial.
Never miss a fleeting shutter chance
As the name suggests, "Floral emblems of Japan" features motifs of "cherry blossoms" and "chrysanthemums," Japan's representative flowers.
The flower language of the cherry blossom is "spiritual beauty."
The flower language of the chrysanthemum is "nobility."
We have expressed their simple, elegant beauty through organic hand-carving. Can you feel the warmth that machinery cannot replicate?
These soft releases are crafted with a concave center, creating a three-dimensional form that gently cradles the fingertip. This design not only enhances aesthetics but also ensures a comfortable fit, making them functional pieces that won't let you miss a single shutter opportunity. They are also ingeniously designed to be mounted at an extremely low position for easier shutter activation.
Silver soft releases also available at a shop in Yanaka, Taito Ward
I lived abroad from 1988 to 2004. Having longed for Europe and America, it was precisely because I was away for so long that I came to appreciate the merits of Japan.
Japan is beautiful.
Japanese culture is wonderful.
I wanted to give form to these feelings. I would be delighted if you enjoy "Floral emblems of Japan."
