Claustrum's innovative metal items explore and simply embody new mechanisms, techniques, and surface finishes from various perspectives.




All components, including metalwork, are produced in collaboration with artisans at dozens of specialized factories in the Tokyo metropolitan area. While all assembly and finishing processes are carried out at the Ginza workshop, the final stage involves meticulous hand-adjustment of each item to ensure ultimate usability.

Claustrum items boast high practicality, such as one-handed operation and streamlined workflows. This time, a new lineup of items designed for offices and stores has been introduced.




This includes a cash tray designed for easy coin handling and a clip board for signage, combining steel with leather. The previously released tape cutter has also been reissued with an improved design.

The tape cutter itself features a built-in magnet and can be used attached to its dedicated steel base. It can also be installed in combination with a second unit, helping to create a tidy counter space in offices and shops.




Claustrum items also receive maintenance services at their Ginza workshop. The provision of aftercare, encouraging long-term use, is another appeal of the brand.
