The Title "Beautiful Pots for the Table"

Lagostina was founded in 1901 by Carlo Lagostina and his son Emilio in Omegna, a small town in northern Italy. The second generation, Massimo Lagostina, succeeded in manufacturing Italy's first stainless steel pot in 1933. This series, later named "Casa Mia," was selected for the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York in 1955.
