iPhone Camera Recognizes 3D Movement

The IK Multimedia iRing comes as a set with two ring-type controllers and two apps: "iRing Music Maker" and "iRing FX/Control." Each ring-type controller is equipped with two types of markers for pattern recognition and a ring holder that can be worn by sandwiching it between two fingers. One side of the iRing is printed with dots arranged in a line, and the other side has dots arranged in a triangle. By holding these dots over the camera of an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, the app recognizes the position and movement on the 3D XYZ axes.

The "iRing FX/Controller" app offers 16 types of creative effects, including delay and stutter. It also supports Inter-App Audio and Audiobus for iOS 7, allowing you to apply effects to the sounds of other compatible apps using "iRing FX/Controller."
