High-Sense Select E-commerce "CJ Mart" Opens


CJ Mart, an e-commerce site with a global reach, curated by Japan's most discerning tastemakers and brought to you by Medicom Toy—known for BE@RBRICK and other globally acclaimed products—launched on January 31st.

Global Grand Opening on Friday, February 28th


CJ Mart, selected for the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry's 2013 "Cool Japan Strategy Promotion Project," debuts as a permanent platform. It aims to continuously deliver Japan's superior products, content, and culture to the world through its esteemed curators, creators, and buyers, showcasing the "power of things" created by Japanese artisans globally.




Alongside Medicom Toy's diverse product range, CJ Mart's initial participating companies include Cement Produce Design, Method, headed by Yu Yamada, and Special Product Design, led by Hayato Kobama. These four entities will curate products befitting CJ Mart's discerning selection.

The "BE@RBRICK C.J.MART," featuring the Cool Japan logo, and the "BE@RTEE C.J.MART," a variation of the same design, began accepting orders on CJ Mart from January 31st as special opening commemorative items.




Operations commenced in Japan on January 31, 2014, with the global grand opening scheduled for Friday, February 28th.
