FIELD NOTES is a modern reimagining of the small notebooks once favored by American farmers. A black-covered model, previously released as a limited edition, has been reborn with a fresh look and added to the standard product lineup under the name "PITCH BLACK."

Since its launch in 2007, FIELD NOTES has not only paid homage to the past but has also been refined for urban lifestyles, rapidly gaining users in recent years. The limited-edition models released several times a year capture the hearts of users, to the point where collectors now exist.

"PITCH BLACK" means "utterly black." The deep black cover exudes a calm atmosphere, making it a design suitable for formal occasions. The interior paper format, a first for the standard lineup, features a 5mm dot grid, making it easy to write text and draw figures.

Retaining its unique feel, with materials and processes entirely MADE IN USA, we are eager to experience how the deep black cover will age and become familiar through active and free use.
