The 'F/style Exhibition' is Being Held at Interior Shop 'ViVO,VA'

Based in Niigata, 'F/style' operates with the concept of 'doing everything necessary for a product to circulate, beyond manufacturing.' For 20 years, they have combined traditional craftsmanship with their own sensibilities to create and present products. Their high precision and user-friendliness have earned them support from a wide range of people.

This collaboration began in 2015 when Kō Soda, a renowned shoe and bag artisan, created a bag using fabric scraps (stain-proof material) left over from 'F/style's' production.

It has now evolved into a series named 'One,' focusing on the leftover materials generated during production and crafting items that leverage their unique characteristics.

The 'Sheep x Stingray Bag' features a body made of sheepskin, collaged with scraps of stingray leather (pieces remaining after the distinctive white 'star marks' have been removed). It is characterized by its simple appearance and soft texture.

The 'Stain-proof Chair Pad' is made from offcuts of stain-proof (a durable, friction-resistant fabric) material used in slipper production. The material is assembled into a circular seat, resulting in a finish reminiscent of a collage artwork.

The products in the 'One' series function as practical items while also possessing the aesthetic qualities of Kō Soda's sculptural works. Both are available for purchase at the 'F/style Exhibition' currently being held at the interior shop 'ViVO,VA'.
