Kan Izumi, an artist who explores works that evoke changes in physical sensation, with a concept of “resurrecting the senses.” We focus on the original aromas of the personal care brand SOJYU, curated by him as he handles scent design and direction for various spaces and products.

SOJYU, with scent artist Kan Izumi overseeing the fragrances, is a personal care brand born with the aim of supporting each individual's fulfillment, cherishing an aesthetic that engages with one's true self.
The brand pursues products and services that help individuals recognize their inherent beauty and lead healthy, authentic lifestyles.
The first collection focuses on the sense of smell, approaching this sense, said to be the most deeply retained in human memory, with five distinct fragrances.
In addition to the two existing scents, “TAIKAN” and “SHIN KOKYU,” three new fragrances will be introduced this spring. “SOSEI,” a transparent, herbal scent that clears the body; “HANAYAGI,” where the combination of geranium and lavandin calms the mind; and “MICHIRU,” an energetic citrus scent that restores mental brightness and physical vitality.
The collection includes essential oils and aroma reed diffusers.
