SPONGE BOOK STORE, which launched in February of this year, is a gathering place for writers and artists. It will be held from November 13th at Paddlers Coffee (Nishihara, Shibuya-ku). We'd like to draw your attention to the new products from the D.I.Y. label "41st Century" that will be available at the venue.

SPONGE BOOK STORE brings together independent writers to develop their individual ideas centered around books.

The D.I.Y. label "41st Century" created the original merchandise "book cover" for this event.

Unlike typical book covers, this design is reminiscent of the return bags used by rental video stores in the past. Made of nylon on the surface and vinyl on the back, it's designed without zippers or fasteners so that the contents are visible and books can be easily removed.

The "SPONGE BOOK STORE" mascot character, "Spo-taro," illustrated by zuck, is printed on both sides. The purple and blue base models are collaboration items with the street reading group "riverside reading club." Recommended for those who always carry books and want to cherish the cover as well.
