Raycop's Germicidal Appliances for the Rainy Season: The Futon Cleaner Series

Raycop's futon cleaners, the "Raycop PRO" and "Raycop RN," use UV-C light to eliminate germs and viruses, while their "Tapping" function effectively suctions up house dust such as mite debris. It's essential to keep bedding, which is in constant contact with our bodies, clean.

Equipped with "UV-C," Eliminates Over 90% of House Dust in 3 Minutes (※1)

The rainy season is a time when awareness of germicidal measures heightens. Due to the impact of the novel coronavirus, it's easy to imagine that the desire to maintain a clean living space is stronger than ever this year, not just for housewives but for a wide range of people.
Raycop is a manufacturer that boasts high sales for its futon cleaners, developed from a doctor's desire to "save people suffering from mites and house dust, the main causes of allergic symptoms."
Keeping futons, which tend to accumulate mites and house dust, clean is a crucial point for upgrading one's quality of life that cannot be overlooked.
The futon cleaners "Raycop RN" and "Raycop PRO" are equipped with a "UV-C lamp," offering 99.9% germicidal (※2) and virus removal (※3) performance.
Furthermore, it inhibits mite activity, making it harder for mite eggs to hatch and preventing reproduction. Its "powerful tapping" function then dislodges house dust, including mite feces and dead mites, for thorough suction.
Medical Environmental Manager Tadao Matsumoto states, "Utilizing UV-C with a wavelength of 253.7nm is one effective method. Also known as 'germicidal ultraviolet rays,' it is said to eliminate viruses such as influenza."
While not all scenes in a healthy home require disinfection, it is important to reduce the amount of viruses along with dirt through proper cleaning methods for areas where virus droplets are likely to fall, such as tables and futons.
The rainy season is characterized by high humidity and temperature, creating a breeding ground for bacteria. For futons, where virus droplets can settle during sleep, frequent washing and sun-drying become necessary. However, these tasks can be physically demanding and arduous.
This is where UV-C sterilization with ultraviolet light proves effective. Generally, ultraviolet rays are easily absorbed by organic matter, meaning that the presence of dirt reduces the amount of UV light that reaches viruses, diminishing their inactivating effect. However, combining it with a vacuum cleaner allows for simultaneous dirt removal and UV-C irradiation, which is considered an effective approach." he commented.
※1 [House Dust Removal Rate] Tested by ITEA Co., Ltd. Tokyo Environmental Allergy Research Institute [Method] House dust (mite feces)
was scattered on the bedding and suctioned by moving at a speed of 20 cm/sec for 3 passes ※Self-calculated value ※Assumes general bedding,
