A British brand of innovative eyewear makes its return

CUBITTS | CUBITTS

The British eyewear brand CUBITTS makes its second landing in Japan, following its debut last August. From March 3rd, a pop-up event titled 'HINAMATSURI' will be held at the eyewear specialty store 'Blink Base' in Omotesando. This is a rare opportunity to experience CUBITTS in Japan, as the brand typically only sells through its own directly managed stores, eschewing exports and wholesale.

Founder Tom Broughton was greatly influenced by the methods and philosophy of architect Lewis Cubitt, establishing the brand in 2012.

...high-quality, well-designed eyewear could be purchased affordably, by handling everything from product planning to retail in-house.
Currently operating 10 stores in the city, the brand has garnered a significant following.

Last August, they held their first pop-up event in Japan, 'Kon-nichiwa, TOKYO.' This second iteration focuses on their women's collection.

Under the event name 'HINAMATSURI,' actress Masumi Nomura, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner Reiko Yuasa, and interior designer Yumika Yoshida serve as the image models.

At 'HINAMATSURI,' as with the previous event, frames will be sold as sets with lenses. Customers can choose from a total of 34 frame styles and 17 lens types. Prices start at ¥26,000 (excluding tax), offering high quality at a reasonable price.

Although titled 'HINAMATSURI,' many of the designs are unisex, suggesting an event that will appeal to a wide audience.
