“PAPERSKY TRAVEL TOOLS” is the merchandise line from “PAPERSKY,” the travel lifestyle magazine with the concept of “an inflight magazine you can read on the ground.” Embark on a journey to rediscover Japan’s charm with these tenugui (Japanese hand towels), created in collaboration with the tenugui specialty store Kamawanu.

“PAPERSKY TRAVEL TOOLS” is a line of travel goods developed by the travel lifestyle magazine “PAPERSKY,” which operates under the concept of “an inflight magazine you can read on the ground.”

Among these, the popular item “Travel Towel” is part of a series created for PAPERSKY’s project to rediscover the charm of Japan, “Tour de Nippon.” In January 2020, a Kochi version was newly released.

All are collaborations with the tenugui specialty store Kamawanu, and are carefully dyed by artisans using the Chusen technique, which has continued since the Meiji era.

The new product, released in conjunction with the “Tour de Nippon in Kochi” event held from March 20-21, 2020, features designs inspired by Kochi’s proud, beautiful clear streams, such as the Niyodo River and Shimanto River. Additionally, 25 patterns corresponding to previous event locations are available. We hope you will experience the charm of Japan rediscovered through these tenugui.
