A life committed to the essence of things, not just design.

Introducing the L size of the wall-mounted mirror "wawa," designed by Torafu Architects and produced by Tsuruya Shoten, a rattan product manufacturer founded in 1907.

"nuskool" is a brand born from a collaboration between METROCS, an interior shop dealing in classic design products, and emerging designers.
It proposes design products that embrace daily life, with a concept of transmitting future masterpieces from Japan, ethical manufacturing with consideration for environmental impact, and new ideas and surprises.
The wall-mounted mirror "wawa," released in 2016, is a popular item designed by Torafu Architects using rattan craft techniques. Named "wawa" from its "double ring" shape of spirally wound rattan, its frame, which leverages the supple yet strong characteristics of rattan, is simple yet makes a statement.
And in January 2020, an L size will be added to "wawa."
The unpainted frame will develop a rich, amber hue with use, creating a unique texture. The mounting hardware on the back features a notch that allows it to be hung on the wall at any desired angle out of eight possible directions.
Production is by hand at Tsuruya Shoten, a rattan product manufacturer founded in 1907. The tip of the frame is adorned with a single decorative element, and it's a pleasure to be able to choose based on your interior.
