Celebrating the new era name 'Reiwa': A celebratory first meal set in Hasami ware is released | amabro
amabro
Tableware to mark a child's special occasion, growing with them over time.
The ancient Japanese ritual of "Okuizome," held on a child's 100th day, carries the wish for them to never face hardship with food throughout their lives.
A product befitting such a celebratory milestone for a child has been released by "amabro."
The "Okuizome Set" comes in a paulownia wood box, containing a rice bowl, soup bowl, flat plate, small bowl, and soy sauce dish in Hasami ware, along with chopsticks made of domestic natural wood (ate). The lid of the paulownia box also serves as a tray.
The inner surface of the bowls features a raised edge, making them easy to scoop from with a spoon. The colors and shapes are designed so that children can continue to use them even as adults. The tableware is also microwave-safe.
This would also make a welcome baby shower gift. Scheduled for release in mid-October.
