Emphasis on qualities that appeal to the user's senses

"Largo" offers a gentle texture and feel, made from the finest Pima cotton, renowned among American cottons for its long and fine fibers. "Moderato" uses "Giza 88," a premium extra-long staple cotton from Egypt, as its main material, providing a comfortable, form-fitting feel. "Allegro" uses San Joaquin cotton from the U.S. as its main material, offering a comfortable experience with a sense of refined normalcy.—This is the Dialog in the Dark Towel, a collection of these three lines (each with two types) launched in 2008, which also received the Good Design Award in the same year.



The Dialog in the Dark Towel was developed through towel tasting (monitor testing) conducted by Dialog in the Dark's attendants (visually impaired individuals), who possess more delicate tactile and auditory senses than sighted individuals. The development prioritizes qualities that appeal to the user's senses, such as not only the "water absorbency and moisture-wicking" when the towel touches the skin, but also the "texture and feel" upon contact.

The collection, first released in 2008 in a single white color, now adds three new colors—Natural, Charcoal, and Vermilion—to its existing product lines. Furthermore, a new line of DID (Dialog in the Dark) towel handkerchiefs called "Presto" has been introduced.
