Beautiful 'Works of Art' for Everyday Dining

Gien Blue, Exemplified by Renaissance FontainebleauGien, a name known to virtually every French household for its beautiful, deep blue pottery, was born in the town of Gien on the banks of the Loire River. The manufacturer's warm style, inspired by the rich natural surroundings of the Loire's forests and valleys, has garnered widespread popularity.

Gien not only reproduces antique French pieces but also adopted techniques for replicating Italian maiolica and Japanese Satsuma ware. The company produces exquisite works featuring glossy relief surfaces fired at high temperatures, crackled patterns, Turkish blue glazes, colored patterns on raw clay, and designs with gold leaf on a deep blue background.

The new 'A Table' collection, featured above, has been renewed from Gien's late 19th-century designs into contemporary interpretations. These pieces, both nostalgic and modern, are available in the Biarritz, Deauville, Paris, and Toulouse series. We recommend paying attention to these tableware pieces that will accompany your joyful daily meals.

'Safari': An Invitation to Adventure in the Savannah

The 'Safari' collection features designs by Stéphane Alsac, an artist renowned for his delicate animal illustrations. Giraffes, zebras, and antelopes against a horizon, along with elephants, lions, cheetahs, and leopards cooling off in the shade – the series is inspired by the peaceful lives of animals in the savanna.
