A New Scanner That Looks Down on Your Documents
The "DeskShot" is a smart, stand-type scanner with a shape reminiscent of a desk lamp. To use it, simply launch the software and capture the document you wish to scan with the built-in camera at the top front of the DeskShot. Of course, you can continue working at your desk while scanning. The device automatically recognizes the edges of the document and crops out any excess background. It also corrects for trapezoidal distortion, so you don't have to worry about the angle or orientation when scanning, which is a welcome feature.
It reacts to pink, yellow, and blue fluorescent markers, allowing you to capture only the essential parts of newspapers or magazines.
The scanner can handle paper sizes from business cards up to A4. The captured images can be further edited on your computer using software for trimming, adjusting brightness and contrast, and switching between color and monochrome. It supports PDF, JPG, and PNG formats for saving.
With the "DeskShot," you won't have to worry about desk space, and it's sure to accelerate your daily workflow.
