URBAN RESEARCH
An Intimate Collaboration: Two Pairs Presenting "Paper?"
Exhibition: "Paper? – fourruof and i ro se"
"Leather Like Paper" and "Fabric Like Paper"—Though their materials differ, both brands create leather and fabric that, at first glance, could be mistaken for paper. URBAN RESEARCH KYOTO will host a joint exhibition, "Paper? – fourruof and i ro se," featuring these two brands that craft such intriguing products, beginning Friday, November 1st.

"fourruof"
Founded in October 2010 by designer Shiho Hoshino, "fourruof" is a brand specializing in bags and pouches.
They offer bags, covers, and cases with classical designs and gentle, simple color palettes, all crafted from a paper-like textured fabric (paper cloth).

"i ro se"
"irose," meaning "siblings" in an ancient Japanese word, is a designer duo that creates unique products by folding and layering leather as if it were paper.
Their items are a fusion of meticulously calculated designs, careful craftsmanship, and the enjoyment of aging that comes with leather.
