ESTEBAN | An original brand born from Japanese planning begins

ESTEBAN | Shinichiro Nakamura Appointed Director

ESTEBAN's Original Japanese Collection Launches

Founded in 1979 in the South of France by Jean Max Esteban, ESTEBAN is a fragrance brand that established the genre of "interior fragrance," giving form to intangible scents. Its uniquely creative aromas are now loved by people in over 40 countries worldwide. Now, a new original Japanese collection, "ESTEBAN DECO EDITION," has been launched. A pop-up shop will open on the 24th of this month at "Craft Bureau" in Shibuya Hikarie ShinQs.

Scents from the South of France for Japanese Living
ESTEBAN DECO EDITION features Shinichiro Nakamura, representative of Landscape Products, as director, and collaborates with craftsmen from Japan and abroad. Focusing on the aesthetic sense, sensibility, and spirit of hospitality cultivated by Japanese history and culture, the collection aims to create high-quality, comfortable products that enhance various scenes in daily life.

We would like to introduce the core products of this brand launch, which complement the star, the scent, and evoke various lifestyle scenes.

Incense Holder "Fleur"

This incense holder reproduces traditional French designs and colors while maximizing the usability and functionality for scent diffusion. It is designed and crafted by Masaki Kamikokuryo, a ceramic artist based in Kagoshima. Made of half ceramic and half porcelain, the surface allows ash to slide off easily for simple cleaning. Furthermore, by removing the central incense stand, it can also be used to hold your own candles. Size: Diameter 125mm x Height 35mm | Weight: Approx. 120g | Price: ¥6,300

Wine Bottle Diffuser

Keeping in mind that ESTEBAN is a French brand, we focused on France's high quality and sophisticated wine culture. Thus, we propose a diffuser made from a recycled wine bottle. The stopper is made of recycled cork. "When placed on a cabinet or a side table next to the bed, we aimed for a subtle presence rather than something too assertive, so that one might wonder, 'Where is that lovely scent coming from?'" comments Nakamura. Size: Diameter 75mm x Height 110mm | Weight: Approx. 260g | Price: ¥3,150

Linen Sachet

These sachets are made from high-quality linen, originating from Europe, primarily France, and meticulously sewn in Japan. They are recommended not only for home use but also for personal spaces like cars or for travel. The scents are available in the following three types:

"Cedar" features a warm, woody aroma with accents of clove and nutmeg, evoking the scent of nature, themed around Himalayan cedar, long revered as a "sacred tree." "Tekketonka" is themed around an African adventure, with accents of aged spices like clove and tonka bean nurtured by the African sun. "Amber" is themed around the fairytale world of picture books, with sweet, gentle scents of cinnamon and vanilla emanating from ceramic shapes of moons and stars. Sizes: 115mm x 85mm x 20mm | Weight: Approx. 65g-85g | Price: ¥2,625

These items, while from a French brand, are thoughtfully designed with Japanese lifestyles in mind. They will be available at the pop-up shop held from Thursday, October 24th to Wednesday, November 6th, at "Craft Bureau" on the 5th floor of Shibuya Hikarie ShinQs. We encourage you to experience them in person.
