Kimura Glass "Craftsmanship Exhibition" Held
Since its founding in 1910, Kimura Glass has been a manufacturer without its own factory, producing numerous original glass designs with the cooperation of many artisans and factories in the field of tableware used by professionals. The ongoing "Kimura Glass Craftsmanship Exhibition" features new old glasses by Kimura Glass designer Shizuyo Saegusa, as well as recent wine glasses and other items, all on display and available for purchase.

Kimura Glass's new autumn collection: five types of thick old glasses
Kimura Glass is renowned for its glasses chosen by professionals, such as the "Ultra-Thin Glass," popular as a standard beer glass for Japanese cuisine and used in kappo and ryotei restaurants in the Kansai region for about 60 years; the "Pivo," with its very thin stem often seen in French and Italian restaurants; and the "Katsuma" and "Rappu" cocktail glasses favored by bartenders. The company maintains a traditional approach to manufacturing, continuously creating timeless glassware.
Their products are frequently requested not only by specialty stores but also by select and lifestyle shops both domestically and internationally, often appearing alongside fashion items and household goods.
This "Kimura Glass Craftsmanship Exhibition" will showcase new designs by Shizuyo Saegusa, the company's in-house designer, as well as the "Sava" glass, characterized by its delicate, almost fragile appearance, with a short, stable base.
