Chinatsu Kanbayashi Book Launch Event
A new book, “I found it! Little treasures of the world,” which compiles Chinatsu Kanbayashi’s “Found in Countries Around the World!” series from JAL Group’s in-flight magazine “SKYWARD,” will be released by SPACE SHOWER BOOKS on October 18 (Friday). A book launch event, doubling as a pre-sale, will be held at “Found MUJI Aoyama” from October 11 (Friday) to 24 (Wednesday).

Display and sale of select items featured in the “SKYWARD” series
The book “I found it! Little treasures of the world” re-edits items introduced over four years from 2009, setting 13 unique themes such as “Hello Babies,” featuring gifts for babies worldwide, and “Merry Christmas,” showcasing Christmas goods from various countries.
Interior stylist Chinatsu Kanbayashi, who also directs the lifestyle shop “Early Birds” in Kamakura, has selected 220 items that make you wonder “What is this?” gathered from around the globe, compiling them into this book.
To commemorate the release, author Chinatsu Kanbayashi will visit “Found MUJI Aoyama” on October 13 (Sunday) from 2 PM to 5 PM.

An interior stylist. After studying interior decoration, she moved to the UK. Upon returning to Japan, she worked in magazine editing before becoming a freelance stylist. In 2000, she co-founded “Jamo Associates” with interior designer Norihito Takahashi. Viewing clothing, food, and living as a total fashion concept, she styles for magazines, advertisements, and catalogs, as well as handling exhibition and shop window displays, and coordinating shop spaces. In 2012, she opened her own gift boutique, “Early Birds,” in Kamakura. She currently resides in California.
