Appearing at the Special Gallery Space "Preview" on the Interior Floor of Seibu Shibuya


Works by Designer Keita Suzuki Gathered in One Place


LIVING EDITION, located on the B1 floor of Seibu Shibuya's interior section, brings together 11 select interior shops offering everything from modern furniture and accessories to high-quality, distinctive interior items crafted with attention to materials and design. The PRODUCT DESIGN CENTER shop has opened in its special gallery space, "Preview." Products designed by product designer Keita Suzuki will be on display until December 10 (Tue) <scheduled>.

Design processes and prototypes will also be exhibited. A must-see for fans!

The special gallery space "Preview" is a new presentation space where creators expected to be active in the future exhibit and sell their products and art pieces, with the concept of "displaying future value," according to its curator, creative director Akio Aoki. This time, product designer Keita Suzuki was nominated by Mr. Aoki.

Keita Suzuki heads the design office "PRODUCT DESIGN CENTER," which handles everything from product planning and design to support for distribution. He aims to create designs that can present new value to society. He states his philosophy: "There are many company executives and local producers who lament, 'We can make things, but we can't sell them.' As design professionals, we fully support such individuals and will work to brighten the future of Japan's manufacturing industry."

Last May, he also launched a new project called "THE" with Manabu Mizuno, representative of Good Design Company, and Jun Nakagawa, representative of Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten. The three aim to create "new standards, 'THE,' that didn't exist in the world, by producing products with uncompromising attention to detail."




At the "PRODUCT DESIGN CENTER shop" this time, a variety of products are on display and for sale, including those developed in collaboration with Oda Kodo Co., Ltd.Moscow Mule Cups from the Copperware Brand "RED&WHITE"Following this, "Daily Cups," "Iced Coffee Cups," and "Vases" are also featured. These are everyday items that allow you to experience the feel of copper more intimately.

Born in Aichi Prefecture in 1982. Graduated from Tama Art University, Department of Product Design, in 2006. Worked at NEC Design Ltd. in 2007. Worked at Iwasaki Design Studio in 2009. Established PRODUCT DESIGN CENTER in 2012. Established THE Inc. (jointly with Manabu Mizuno of Good Design Company and Jun Nakagawa of Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten). Visiting Professor at Kanazawa College of Art, Department of Product Design, in 2012. Opened THE SHOP (KITTE 4F, Tokyo Station) in 2013.
