“ditto: Where Art and Fashion Intersect” Exhibition Opens
The brand name "ditto" means "copy." As the name suggests, ditto scarves, themed around "art and fashion connected by scarves," feature artworks printed on soft silk. For its debut, the collection starts with 36 designs from 20 artists, including photographers, illustrators, and architects. An opening party, open to all, will be held from 7 PM to 9 PM on Friday, September 20th, at KATA, the exhibition venue in Ebisu.

ditto scarves come in patterns and sizes for both men and women.
ditto scarves are available in two sizes. The larger size can be worn around the neck, used to wrap items, or serve various other purposes. The smaller size can be used as a hair accessory or, for men, as a pocket square.
Nami Sasaki, director of KATA, a gallery adjacent to the second floor of Ebisu's live house "Liquidroom," and producer of ditto, shares: "My mother, who was a fashion buyer for Mitsukoshi, loved brands like Dior and Céline. Her hobby was patchwork, and I often accompanied her to craft stores to find materials. I believe my appreciation for quality and my love for fabric were nurtured by these memories with my mother.
Influenced by my mother, who had a keen aesthetic sense and was also a craftswoman, I always wanted to be involved in making things. As I pursued various jobs, I encountered many exceptional artists. When I thought about how to share these wonderful creations with as many people as possible, the first thing that came to mind was a scarf my mother gave me when I was a student. The intersection of art and fashion born from this is "ditto," she explains about the debut.
The allure of scarves that make the everyday a little more special.
Crafted from 100% high-quality silk and featuring high-definition inkjet prints that preserve the original artwork's quality, ditto scarves can be used as fashion accessories, or, by wrapping items, as bags. They can even be framed as art. By wearing or displaying them, one can enjoy the potential of scarves to make the everyday a little more special.
