MONTBLANC
A New Standard Embodying Tradition and Innovation
Introducing the "Montblanc Heritage Collection 1912"
Last year, 100 years after the brand's predecessor, Simplu Filler Pen Company, developed its first piston-filler fountain pen in 1912, Montblanc created the "Montblanc Heritage Collection" as a homage to its history, achieving further innovation. This year, in its 101st year, the brand introduces a new model in black precious resin, establishing this collection as its new standard.

Inspired by the original "Simplo Safety Filler Pen," the "Montblanc Heritage Collection 1912" features a body of lustrous black precious resin and a sharp, platinum-finished form. This design speaks to an enduring modernity that will never go out of style.
The white cap top, a tribute to the pioneers, is crafted with a mother-of-pearl "White Star" floating within a transparent resin dome.
It is equipped with the cutting-edge "Two-Step Screw Mechanism," allowing the nib to be retracted despite being a piston-filler. The end cap functions as a crown; rotating it while in its original position extends or retracts the nib, while pulling it out and rotating it activates the piston for ink filling.
The nib is made of 585 solid gold with rhodium plating. Its sharp, radiant aesthetic resembles a finely honed machine, transcending the boundaries of a mere fountain pen, and offering an exceptionally smooth writing experience.

Approximately 100 years have passed since the birth of the fountain pen, which liberated writing instruments from desk inkwells and evolved them into portable tools. This model, embodying traditional design while incorporating innovative technology for the future, has been available since August.
