Like sculpture, yet not sculpture; like craft, yet not quite craft. This special exhibition, "Someone Will Surely Pick It Up," is held in conjunction with an article in the August issue of "Geijutsu Shincho" (released July 25th), where Wajima lacquerware artist Akito Akagi interviewed six artists who create such "fragments."

Alongside works by Chihiro Akino (metalwork), Ayako Ueda (stone carving), Koji Kumagai (ceramics), Tomoko Hayashi (mud painting woodwork), Mie Yokouchi (lacquer), and Ryo Watanabe (metalwork), Akito Akagi's objet d'art will also be specially exhibited.
