Ensuring Mt. Fuji Remains a Beautiful Treasure of Japan and the World for the Next 100 Years

The "Fugaku Thirty-Six Project," inspired by Katsushika Hokusai's 36 ukiyo-e prints titled "Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji," selects 36 content pieces themed around Mt. Fuji across genres such as books, music, and food. It proposes new ways to enjoy Mt. Fuji while dedicating a portion of its sales to the ongoing environmental conservation efforts for the mountain, which remains a concern. This project aims to pass Mt. Fuji on to future generations.

The "FUJIWAN ~Fuji Bowl~," designed to resemble Mt. Fuji, is crafted by Yusuke Fujinuma's "Floyd." The rice represents the mountain, and the logo, symbolizing steam as a sea of clouds, is presented in a paulownia box with gold leaf imprinting.

From Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten's "Nihon Ichi" brand,Nakagawa Masashichi Shotenoriginal designs include the "Mt. Fuji Kendama," a collaborative product with a certified workshop of the Japan Kendama Association in Yamagata, and the auspicious "Fuji Umbrella (Fujisan)," which is said to bring smiles to both the user and those around them with just a wave.
